At Fosta-Tek Optics, our goal is to provide you with world-class quality optical products that meet or exceed not only national and international standards but the most important standard of all, yours.
History of Innovation
Fosta-Tek Optics delivers you the benefit of expertise, technologies and processes originally developed at the renowned Foster Grant company. Our current management team brings you their direct experience with Foster Grant’s engineering advancements in the early 1970’s from the introduction of molded acrylic lenses to the development of silicone hardcoats to protect the lenses from scratching.
Fosta-Tek Optics was founded in 1991 with the purchase of substantial manufacturing assets and intellectual property from Foster Grant. Today, we provide superior polymer-based optical products and solutions to industrial, military and OEM markets, including:
- Military
- Automotive
- Safety
- Medical
- Opto-electronic
- Contract manufacturing
Breadth of Offerings
Across these key industries, we employ polymers in the primary optical thermoplastics:
- Polycarbonate
- Acrylic
- COP-Cyclic Olefin Polymer
